　秋口だったと思う。私が小学生だった35年くらい前の。

　小学校の2階の外れ、木漏れ日の入ってくる放課後の図書室でその一冊に出会った。
　インカ帝国？　南米ペルー？　マチュ・ピチュ？　当時はまだ、名前も聞いた事のない単語が並んでいて、これが架空の冒険譚なのか実話なのかさえ知らず夢中で文字を追いかけたのを覚えている。
